Our beautiful 18 hole Exeter golf course is open year round, and available to all members and non-members of Exeter Golf and Country Club. The history of Exeter Golf and Country Club at Wear House dates back to 1929, and is steeped in Devon history. Our Devon golf course in Exeter was designed by the famous James Braid, and the Club has flourished during its 81 year history.
The Par 69, 6023 yard walking golf course is set amongst ancient Oaks, Lime, Redwood and Horse Chestnut trees and with stunning views of Haldon Hill.
With a grass 250m driving range and a large practice putting green, Exeter Golf and Country Club offers the complete golfing package for individuals, groups and society days. We also have the Devon region’s only short game area. Golfing in Exeter has never been more enjoyable than when you book a session with us!

When you come to play on our golf course in Devon, we do ask all golfers to respect the dress code of our Golf Club in Exeter. This can be found as an attached document at the bottom of the page. Appropriate attire is to be worn on our Exeter golf course at all times.
