The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is made up of two units.
Unit 1 (31 hours) covers the principles of lifesaving and swimming pool supervision
Unit 2 (7 hours) cover the application of supervision and rescue in a swimming pool. Validity of the qualification is two years and must be renewed prior to the expiry date of the existing qualification
