Want to play competitive tennis? then Exeter Golf and Country Club is the place for you.
We enter tennis teams in the local leagues in summer and winter months. In the Summer we have 10 tennis teams competing in the Exeter and District Tennis League, 5 men’s teams and 5 ladies teams. As a club our teams are know for being the strongest around with both our Men’s and Ladies 1st teams fighting in their respective divisions for the title on a yearly basis. The other 9 teams all play in divisions usually in the top half of the draw.
Our winter teams also are some of the strongest around, with the Mixed trophy being awarded to Exeter Golf and Country club for the last 10 years.
However, for those who do not want to play team tennis, do not let this put you off. The Tennis Section committee arrange a lot of internal friendly tournaments suitable for all ages and abilities.
