We are taking fitness to the next level with a brand new Spin Studio PLUS 7 Les Mills classes: GRIT, CXWORX, BARRE, BODYCOMBAT, VIRTUAL RPM, BODYATTACK, BODYPUMP.

We’re kick-starting this exciting new era in fitness at Exeter Golf and Country Club with a
 FREE OPEN DAY on a new date coming soon.

The new Group Exercise timetable will be bigger than ever, with over 60 live classes a week, plus over 20 RPM virtual classes a week!

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE SWEAT

Steve Tansey is Head of Research and Development for Les Mills UK, leading research projects to support the Fitness Industry, publishing work that positions Les Mills programming above all competition and disseminating these learnings internationally. He has a strong background as a College and University Lecturer and Master’s Degree in Strength and Conditioning.

Steve is also the BODYCOMBAT™ Specialist in the UK as well as Trainer and Presenter in both BODYCOMBAT™ and GRIT™ with 18 years as a Les Mills Trainer/Presenter.

Your free space at the Open Day includes TWO live classes, Steve Tansey’s talk, Virtual RPM available throughout the day, plus use of the swimming pools and gym for the day. There will be a healthy food, snacks and drinks menu available to buy on the day to fuel the fitness, plus exclusive membership offers.

BODYATTACK is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.

LES MILLS BODYPUMP

2.00pm - 2.45pm

with LES MILLS TRIBE COACH DANNY DOWLING & LES MILLS INSTRUCTORS JAMES & LEE

Work all the major muscle groups in one workout. Get lifting with BODYPUMP and you’ll tone and shape your entire body, without adding bulky muscles, using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition.

LES MILLS RPM VIRTUAL

10am - 2.30pm

RPM IS LITERALLY EASIER THAN RIDING A BIKE

Born from the sport of cycle racing, RPM uses simulated climbs and sprints in a workout where you control the intensity. RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories. With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.
