What do you do?
I am responsible for everything to do with swimming and pools at the club. From the swimming lesson programme and instructors to maintaining the water quality of the pools and Jacuzzi. I am also responsible for our lifeguard team and their training. I run lifeguard courses, first aid at work courses and other health and safety courses for all employees and external trainees. I teach swimming lessons and lifesaving courses once a week for children and teenagers and I am also the Health and Safety Deputy for the club.
What do you love about the club and working in leisure?
I love the team and the environment I work in. The best thing about working in leisure is the pleasure in helping others achieve their goals like learning to swim. It’s a positive place to work as people come to relax and have fun.
When did you start?
I started working in leisure when I was 16 and I have been teaching swimming for more than 20 years now. I started working at Exeter Golf and Country Club in February 2008.

I am professional, easy going, confident and I love challenges.

Swimming, Surf, Football and scuba diving.
