Join our Sales and Events Team as an Events Coordinator and help us create exceptional memories for our guests.

From the romance of a wedding to the excitement of a party or the exacting requirements of a corporate meeting, no two days are the same. If variety is the spice of your life, this is a great job for you.

Are you passionate about creating exceptional events? Is your enthusiasm infectious? Does your smile light up a room? Do you like to start conversations and find out about people? Do you care and have an eye for detail?

As an Events Coordinator, your clients vary from company directors to the bride and groom, all requiring a different style of event and a different approach. Can you flip from looking after a wake, to the specific detail of a conference, adjusting your empathy to accuracy from one hour to the next?

We understand it is exceptional service that generates sales and so developing relationships is central to this role. Maximising opportunities and identifying new business opportunities to increase revenue from member events, along with existing and potential clients.

Of course, some previous experience would be helpful, but not necessarily essential if you have charisma, character, endless enthusiasm and the ability to listen and understand what your clients want so we can deliver just that – with the help of colleagues across different departments, particularly the Food and Beverage team and our team of Chefs.

Hours and Contract

Salary: £17,000 – £18,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 25 hours a week to include 1 or 2 Saturdays a month.
Some evening work dependent on events such as Christmas, but often planned with notice.
Flexible school hours optional
Contract: 12 month contract to cover maternity leave (with possibility of permanent contract)
