Exeter Golf and Country Club has started an exciting development plan that will see a brand new contemporary bar (started now!) along with major refurbishment and relaunching of our Members Bar and Wear Park Restaurant. We aim to create our vision of the new style club as the very best, high level, boutique-style leisure experience for members, restaurant and events guests while ensuring we continue to deliver a great service in the meantime while the development work is completed.
Supportive and inspirational leadership with training and coaching at the heart of your operations, the Food and Beverage Manager will help to grow the team across the three areas. Not afraid to challenge the status quo while working closely with fellow managers and your team to navigate successfully through change.
Directly management of the the F&B Supervisors and Bar and Waiting Teams.
Manage day-to-day F&B operations across three areas, within budgeted guidelines and to the highest of standards.
Leading the team with a hands-on approach, mentoring and coaching.
Working closely with the kitchens to deliver the highest standards for each of the three areas.
Ongoing training for the team, effective inductions and ready to deliver a friendly, relaxed yet exceptional guest welcome, maintaining a high level of staff retention.
Being visible throughout the F&B areas to deliver excellent levels of service.
Comply with all health and safety regulations
3 years previous F&B management experience
Understanding of till systems and IT
Demonstrable ability to lead by example
Friendly, assertive and excellent communication
Commitment to continuous improvement for yourself and your team
Self-manage workload and efficient management of rotas, staff holiday and HR for your team
