Wednesday 16th August, 7pm - 9pm
Join us on Wednesday 16th August for a Gin Tasting Night with new ‘Exeter Gin’ and April Marks, owner of ‘Regency Wines’.
Gin connoisseurs, April of Regency Wines, and Karen Skerratt of the soon-to-launch Exeter Gin, will host an evening all about gin.
Taste the six new gins joining our Gin List, with different Fever Tree Tonics and garnishes. We’ve noticed the most popular gins on our list are from Devon and Cornwall and so we have added more to choose from.
April and Karen will help you explore the taste sensations of the our new gins, discovering the unique flavours, botanical blends and distillation techniques of the blossoming artisan producers, and the best ways to drink them.
Karen is due to launch Exeter’s first city gin, Exeter Gin, this summer.
Exeter’s own premium gin is made in small batches and produced in a traditional copper still. This robust yet smooth gin celebrates Exeter’s Roman heritage and occupation between circa AD55 and AD380. The name ‘ISCA Dumnoniorunm’ describes flowing water in reference to the River Exe. Using ancient botanicals favoured by the Romans such as tarragon, basil, cardamon, cinnamon and marigold combined with 11 other botanicals, the result is an outstanding gin experience which is spicy yet smooth.
Be amongst the first to try Exeter Gin at this Gin Tasting Night.
The other new gins on our Gin List include some of the best artisan and premium gins from Devon and Cornwall.
