As a former professional sportsman, health and fitness have always played an important part of my life. Having played professional cricket for Sussex, Middlesex and Derbyshire, along with the England u19s, I understand how fitness, well-being and motivation are the key to success.
I play golf, off a handicap of four, so understand how personal training can improve one’s game of golf too. Fitness for golf is a passion of mine and I hope to work with lots of golfers to improve their flexibility, co-ordination, strength and movement.
I believe in a balanced approach to fitness, using a variety of training methods is the best way to achieve goals – whether a client is training for a specific event such as a marathon, or they want to improve their physical ability to play a sport such as golf, or they just want to improve their strength, stamina, shape or flexibility.
As a sports massage therapist; balance of the body is so important to health and well-being.
My personal training focuses on functional techniques and methods.
To balance my own busy life, I like to use my spare time walking, reading and playing as much golf as possible!
