Plus, your golf membership includes use of our indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. Look out for regular promotions to try our fitness and rackets facilities, and to bring friends for free.
Our men’s golf section is lively, competitive and a great way to meet other golfers. With club competitions every Saturday, along with a busy calendar of tournaments and events, a Friday night ball draw and regular inter-county championships, our men’s membership welcomes all golfers, once you have a handicap under your belt, which can be easily obtained by submitting 3 cards under the friendly guidance of our golf team and members. Our well-drained course means more year-round play than many of our neighbouring golf courses in Devon. Our men’s golf committee have a buddy scheme in place to make sure new golfers feel at home as quickly as possible.
Women’s golf is going from strength-to-strength, with women golfers of all ages getting more involved in the sport. We work closely with England Golf and Devon Golf with initiatives to get women into golf. Our women’s golf members are on-board to welcome new faces. With a buddy scheme available and club competitions every Tuesday, new female golf members are easily integrated into the golf club life – the get-togethers for coffee or wine in the bars also help!
Find out about golf coaching
Family golf is really important to us and members often say that golf is a great way to spend time together as a family. Up to four hours all-together in the fresh air, walking and playing a fun sport is something many families would benefit from. Learn together and play together – we offer family Get Into Golf programmes so children and parents can learn to play golf together. If mum or dad can already play, our Junior Golf Academy is the perfect way to get youngsters on the golf course in no time at all. Sundays are quiet and the best time for a round of family golf.
