The 3rd hole is a 517 yards and on the face of it a straight forward par 5. Tree lined all down the left the perfect tee shot will be hit just inside the two right hand fairway bunkers. Long hitters may get home in two with a good tee shot while the safe play is laying up short of the gully and relying on a good wedge shot to set up a birdie. There are cross bunkers 60 yards from the green which will catch mishit 2nd and 3rd shots while the green has 2 further bunkers. The green is angled in such a way that playing to the middle to left side of the green is the safest way to navigate onto the putting surface.
