Employee of the Year

Dec 16, 2019 | Jenni Ashford

The 2019 Employee of the Year was announced at the Exeter Golf and Country Club Team Christmas Party on Sunday 15th December at Hotel du Vin, Exeter.

With an overwhelming number of votes from his colleagues, Gordon Muldoon, Maintenance Manager, rose to the top and was rewarded with a huge round of applause, and a £250 Princesshay Exeter voucher.

Gordon had eleven votes, with five finalists each receiving three or more votes. A total of 36 staff were voted for by fellow team members – from across all the departments.

The Employee of the Year is selected from nominations from all staff. This is the third year of the award of the club, with previous winners winning hotel stays. The 2018 winner was Steve Firmstone and the 2017 winner was Sam Bennett.

The award is one of the ways Exeter Golf and Country Club recognises and rewards team members. The club also runs an Employee of the Month award with the winner selected from nominations by the management team.

Congratulations to all 36 team members who were nominated!
