Exeter Golf and Country Club are celebrating winning the Palairet Plate on Sunday 2nd July at Woodbury Park Golf Club. The team consisted mainly of junior golfers which is testament to the strength and depth of the golfers at Exeter across all ages at Exeter Golf and Country Club..

Exeter won by 5 points from 2nd place Saunton Golf Club.

Mens Golf Exeter

Presidents Golf Day

On Saturday 8th July, Club President, Keith Bolden held his President’s Golf Day for men. 160 golfers competed with some fantastic scoring. Golf member Paul Waite won the event and the President’s salver with 43 stableford points to secure his first individual trophy win since being a member at Exeter.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Royal Marines Charity.

County Foursomes

Golf members George Robinson and Harrison Greenberry won the Devon County Foursomes event at Tavistock Golf Club on Sunday 9th July. Rounds of 71 and 74 saw them win the event by 4 shots from the home pair of Adam Bridgewater and David Turnball.

James Reed

Continuing his rising golf success, James has now been selected for the England Schools Team after finishing tied 3rd in the National Schools Final at The Kendleshire. James will now play in the international match against Scotland on September 11th at Troon.

Still Cup

Congratulations to the Still Cup team who have now advanced to the Semi Finals after a home win against Churston last week. Good luck to the team and fingers crossed for the next round.

Parker Trophy

The men’s scratch team are now in the quarter finals of the Parker Trophy after beating Woodbury Park Golf Club at East Devon. They now face Honiton Golf Club and Dainton before the end of the month.
