‘Tennis for Kids’ is back at Exeter Golf and Country Club for 2018.

The LTA campaign to encourage children to take up tennis returns to the Club later this month for the third year. Exeter Golf and Country Club is running a number of six-week courses for 4-11 year olds, to teach children tennis skills in a fun, enjoyable setting.  The six-week course costs just £25 and includes a personalised t-shirt, tennis racket and set of balls.

The initial courses will offer the opportunity for 90 juniors to get involved at Exeter Golf and Country Club. There are courses running on Wednesday afternoons, Saturday mornings and during the May half-term to provide as much choice as possible.

Since 2016, over 36,000 children have been introduced to tennis across the country. Last year, 20,000 children took part across the country.  The lessons have been specially developed by the LTA who have also provided specific training for participating tennis coaches.
