Why you should try Virtual Spin for free
Spin is suitable for everyone – you can work at your own level, whether you’re new to fitness or super fit. It’s low impact (so easy on the joints!), fun, motivational and can make a big difference to fitness, fast.
We want everyone to try it so we’ve made Virtual Spin (RPM, Sprint and The Trip) free for ALL members until the end of November 2020.
If you’re new to spin – please be brave and book a class – our Gym Team will be happy to guide you through using the bike and what to expect. Our Spin Studio is dark, so don’t worry about other people watching you – they won’t be – everyone is focused on the floor to ceiling screen!

Cycling gets you fit, fast
Research shows that just three cycle workouts a week can do wonders for your fitness. After just eight weeks of regular cycle workouts exercisers enjoyed improved cardio fitness, reduced body fat, and decreased blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
High-intensity interval cycling gets you even fitter High-intensity interval cycling can be a great low-impact way to enjoy the transformative results of HIIT. Two 30-minute LES MILLS SPRINT workouts significantly improve cardiovascular, metabolic and musculoskeletal fitness, while reducing body fat mass and blood pressure, plus improving glucose tolerance and strength.

In a study of 125 amateur cyclists, researchers found they maintained consistent levels of muscle mass and strength, and stable amounts of body fat and cholesterol, as they aged. The cyclists reduced the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer, and their production of disease-combating T-cells was still functioning as well as much younger people.
