There are many ways to get into golf at Exeter Golf and Country Club. As part of a nationwide campaign to get more women and girls playing golf, we are working with England Golf on a range of programmes to suit women and girls of all ages.
Girls Rock Golf
Girls Golf Rocks encourages girls to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way that rocks!
Girls-only coaching courses for 5-18 years old
You’ll get together with other beginner girls to relax and play fun games with PGA professional coaches leading the activities. Any equipment you need will be provided. You’ll also have plenty of time to chat and make new friends over refreshments.
You can wear what you like as long as it’s comfy and keeps you warm. Trainers are fine for footwear.
If you enjoy yourself then you can come and join us for girls-only group coaching.

Women on Par
Women on Par helps new golfers develop as players. It’s also great fun and a good way to get newcomers involved with the club and its social life.
A 9 hole event featuring a novel scoring system, using a challenge scorecard, to help beginners learn the basic rules and etiquette of the game. Instead of counting shots, the scorecard outlines challenges for players to undertake, for example hitting the green or getting out of the bunker in one.
There are two levels of challenge scorecard, so events can cater for beginners and those who have played a little.
