Social skills, hand-to-eye co-ordination, fresh air, family time and low impact exercise – there are just a few reasons to get your child into golf.
Golf encourages friendships and we know from our long-term members, those friendships can last a lifetime. It teaches about right and wrong in a safe environment and it’s an equal playing field. No matter your fitness, size or shape, you can learn to play. Darren Everett and his team of pro golfers have developed many youngsters into becoming great golfers. Recognised by England Golf for their progressive junior golf coaching, Darren and his team were selected for the launch of the recent Girls’ Can Golf campaign in the South West. Our junior golf coaching adheres to the PGA Junior Golf Passport programme. The club was home to a number of the UK’s best young golfers recently including the British Boys Champion and the ICT National Champion. Ask about our new Family Golf Coaching sessions where you can learn with your child. We often find parents taking up the sport after their children have as it provides a great way to spend a few hours together each week having uninterrupted fun!
Children’s golf lessons take place on the putting green, our short game area, practice ground, function room or inside in our new golf studio.
