Elliot is a REPS3 qualified personal trainer who makes PT sessions fun…and ultra effective.

With scientific-based training methods, focusing on targeted areas, Elliot will ensure you achieve your goals as quickly as possible.

Elliot started working at Exeter Golf and Country Club as a volunteer in the gym to gain experience and knowledge whilst qualifying as a PT. After a couple of years, he left to explore the world, spending time working in Australia. Since being back in Exeter, he worked for The Gym Group before coming on board here at the club as a fully qualified, paid member of the Fitness Team!

Elliot finds thorough research is the key to success so that his training is truly tailored to the individual. He tends to keep away from basic exercises making his sessions inventive and very goal specific.

Elliot said, “Joining Exeter Golf and Country Club as a full member of staff means an awful lot to me. I really loved my time here for work experience – those years formed the basis for my training approach, which I have built on by working in different countries, at different types of gyms.

“Often times people have assumptions or pre-existing ideas of what ‘fitness’ or personal training entails. These ideas can often make exercise seem like a duty or a less desirable activity. I aim to change those connotations by showing people that working with me can be massively enjoyable and sometimes change your mindset entirely.”
